Our Projects
We are dedicated to initiating local projects in Ghana's most impoverished regions. Our primary focus is on creating employment opportunities, as we firmly believe that employment is the key to improving the standard of living in society.
In Chera, a small village in Northern Ghana, there is little employment. Much responsibility falls on the women, as they have to work in the fields, raise the children, and manage the household.
To address poverty in this part of Ghana and improve the position of women, Matt25 Foundation has established a shea butter production center in Chera.
Rural Farming Empowerment
In northern Ghana, we support a local foundation that implements the ‘Foundations for Farming’ method. They train farmers to apply this sustainable approach on their own land. We advise them throughout the process and have purchased land for a demonstration farm. On this demo farm, training, experimentation, and innovation take place, giving farmers the opportunity to learn new techniques and immediately put them into practice.
